| Marrakech, second imperial town, was founded in 1602 by the Almoravides. Nothing remains from this dynasty. The monuments we can still admire today were left by the Almohades and the Saadians. Tour of La Koutoubia, Bahia Palace, Saadians graves and the famous Djemaa El Fna plaza. After lunch, tour of the Menara Gardens, Agdal and Majorelle, the ramparts and the main gates of the "Medina": Bab Doukkala, Bab Rob, Ejdid et Bab El Khémis.

Monday or wednesday / Ourika Valley

| Luxuriant valley, slowly elevates itself from the first buttresses of the high Atlas. Villages built along the river made of cob or stones naturally blend in the landscape. After lunch, departure to Tahanaout and Moulay Brahim, holy place where an important "moussem" is taking place. Then Asni Ouirgane, berbère village at the bottom of Mount Toubkal. It's a region with resources in semi-precious stones. Return to Marrakech in the evening.

| Essaouira used to be large market place, the corsairs made it a naval base and portuguese a city named "Mogador". It is now a city with mild temperatures due to the winds of the Atlantic. You could walk for hours along the ramparts, on its large beach, in the Medina with its art galleries and its workshops. Return to Marrakech in the evening.
